Your sponsorship helps bring the music and museum experiences you love to life. From performances, lectures, and films to special exhibitions featuring works from our collection and partner institutions, you play a vital role in creating memorable and inspiring experiences at The Sembrich.

  • Festival Sponsors help bring world-class music to the shores of Lake George, and receive the following benefits:

    • Four (4) festival tickets (excludes gala and benefit events)

    • Recognition on all printed and digital festival materials

  • Gala Sponsors provide underwriting and leadership support for our annual gala, and receive the following benefits:

    • Two (2) tickets to the gala event at the Honorary Committee level

  • Museum Sponsors support acquisitions, collection preservation, and exhibitions, and receive the following benefits:

    • Four (4) tickets to the Exhibition Closing Reception & Studio Talk

Leave Your Mark at The Sembrich

For more than a century, Marcella Sembrich’s historic teaching studio has been a place where music and artistry come together on the shores of Lake George. Since 1924, it has welcomed generations of artists and visitors, becoming a lasting center for education and performance.

The Centennial Terrace offers a meaningful way to be part of that legacy. A personalized brick helps preserve this historic landmark while creating a lasting tribute to your connection with The Sembrich — and ensures this special place continues to inspire for years to come.

Planned Giving

The Sembrich carries forward a long tradition of philanthropy inspired by our namesake, Marcella Sembrich. Born to humble means, her extraordinary career was made possible through the generosity of supporters who believed in her talent. Throughout her life, she gave back to the communities that sustained her. That legacy continued with her daughter-in-law and the museum’s founder, Juliette de Coppet Stengel, whose gift of the lakeside studio and grounds became what we know as The Sembrich. Today, The Sembrich enriches our community and preserves a unique cultural legacy.

The Hillman Leadership Society

In 2001, Ernest Hillman, Jr.—one of The Sembrich’s most devoted benefactors and President Emeritus of the Board—ensured the future of The Sembrich by including it in his estate plans. His leadership and generosity supported the organization for nearly six decades, and his significant bequest continues to sustain The Sembrich today.

The Hillman Leadership Society honors those who carry forward this tradition of generosity by making planned gifts that secure The Sembrich’s future. Members recognize the vital role The Sembrich plays in our community and demonstrate a lasting commitment to its mission through bequests, trusts, life insurance, charitable gift annuities, and other estate gifts. These legacy gifts help sustain our programs while offering donors potential income and tax benefits.
