Step back in time and experience a Gilded Age musicale in Marcella Sembrich’s lakeside studio. The Sembrich, adorned with garland and candlelight, serves as the perfect setting for this Gilded Age vocal recital with harp and piano accompaniments.

Coloratura soprano Kelli Butler will open the evening with “Regnava nel silenzio” from Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor – the first aria Marcella Sembrich performed in America – and will close the program with “Sempre libera” from Verdi's La Traviata, the aria with which Sembrich concluded her American operatic career in 1909.

Following the performance, you can enjoy an opulent reception. The accompanying harp and lakeside setting is sure to be a spectacular ending to this Gilded Age evening!
