The Sembrich’s Summer Festival: Trailblazers

We’re halfway through our annual summer music and film festival on Lake George, but we still have plenty of exciting performances and screenings coming up! Find details below on our lineup that includes members of the Philadelphia orchestra, the all-female horn group Genghis Barbie, and much more:

Weekly Music in Lake George’s Shepard Park

Shepard Park in Lake George welcomes a variety of free, outdoor music performances all summer long:

Fridays at the Lake

The remaining Fridays at the Lake include:

  • Skeeter Creek & The Newells: August 4

  • Cryin’ Out Loud & Super 400: August 11

  • The Refrigerators & A Blast: August 25

Plus, Ten Most Wanted & The Schmooze on September 1.

All shows start at 7pm and include a beer and wine garden, food vendors, a face painter, and bounce houses.

Musical Mondays

Rich Ortiz performs Mondays at 7pm on August 7, 14, and 21.

Tribute Tuesdays

Tribute Tuesdays on August 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 will star Jonathan Newell, who will lead different tribute bands with various musical styles.

The remaining Wednesday concerts (plus one special Thursday concert) include:

The always highly anticipated Lake George Music Festival runs August 6 to 17 this year. Here’s the schedule:

The Bolton Landing Summer Concert Series takes place at Rogers Memorial Park, just down the road from The Sembrich on Lake Shore Drive, and they have several events left:

Wednesday Night Food Truck & Music Extravaganza

This is a new event in Lake Luzerne, close to Lake George, and about 30 minutes from The Sembrich. The Wednesday Food Trucks & Music has three events left for the season that highlight the following performers:

  • The Mallet Brothers Band: August 2

  • Donny Elvis: August 9

  • The Spirit of Johnny Cash: August 16

Warrensburg Summer Concert Series

The Warrensburg Summer Concert Series takes place at the Warrensburg Recreation Field, just under 20 minutes from The Sembrich. Here’s what they have left this season:

  • Marty Wendell: August 17

  • Larry Ebere: August 24

  • Grit-N-Whiskey: August 31

Rockin’ With Ronald Fest

Rockin’ With Ronald returns to Lake George August 3 to 5. Proceeds from this fundraising event go towards the Ronald McDonald House Charities Krantz Vacation Cottage in Lake George. Fireworks follow the performances the first night. Here’s the lineup:

Rock the Lake Tribute Fest

This Lake George music festival pays tribute to great music and hair bands. Rock the Lake Tribute Fest takes place August 11 and 12, and includes a beer tent and activities for kids. Here’s the schedule:

The Lake George Land Conservancy’s whose office is just down the road from us in Bolton Landing, is running a Living Lands Summer Presentation Series. Here’s what’s coming up with them:
