2023 Bolton Landing Holiday Home Tour
Saturday, December 2 • 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM & 2:00 - 4:00 PM

The Sembrich joins the 2023 Bolton Landing Holiday Home Tour, opening for this one-day special event decked in festive holiday decor. 

Join us for a delightful afternoon in Bolton Landing as we embark on a journey to tour five exquisite homes, each a sparkling jewel of festive enchantment. There's nothing quite like witnessing these magnificent residences adorned in shimmering gold and sparkling silver, showcasing their holiday splendor.

This year's tour proceeds benefit the Conkling Center in Glens Falls. 

Tickets: $35 - Regular Admission; $50 - VIP Admission*

*A general ticket includes 5 homes and a VIP ticket also includes the Bell Point House on the lake with treats and a surprise guest. If inclement weather arises, the event will be moved to 12/3. 


The Met: Live in HD | The Magic Flute
Saturday, December 2 • 12:30 - 3:00 PM

The Met’s first-ever Live in HD transmission—the abridged family-friendly, English-language version of Mozart's The Magic Flute—returns to cinemas this holiday season. Tony Award–winner Julie Taymor conjures a spellbinding staging, replete with a kaleidoscope of color and parades of puppetry in this delightful production from 2006, featuring a stellar cast of Met stars including tenor Matthew Polenzani, baritone Nathan Gunn, and bass René Pape.

Before the broadcast, join The Sembrich's Caleb Eick for a pre-performance talk to learn about Marcella Sembrich and her legacy as the Met Opera's first "Queen of the Night." Also featuring several artifacts from The Sembrich Collection.

The Met: Live in HD | Florencia En El Amazonas
Saturday, December 9 • 12:30 - 3:30 PM

Sung in Spanish and inspired by the magical realism of Gabriel García Márquez, Mexican composer Daniel Catán’s 1996 opera tells the enchanting story of a Brazilian opera diva who returns to her homeland to perform at the legendary opera house of Manaus—and to search for her lost lover, who has vanished into the jungle.

To enhance each broadcast, The Sembrich will present a 15-minute preview featuring members of our staff and special guests, including performing artists and professionals from the music world!
